   What is a DL?
     - DL means Distribution List
     - A DL is list of email addresses used to send an email to everyone on the DL

   Who can use the DL? - For security and privacy, ONLY the DL coordinator can send email to the DL.
              Email addresses and phone numbers are private and will not be shared with anyone.

JOIN THE DL

   - You are invited to join the Highlands Email DL
   - You are NOT required to join this DL. It is your choice.
   - Add your email address to the DL and later you can add, change or remove your address on the DL
   - To join, send an email or text to the coordinator.
      Include your    First & Last Name, Apt #, phone number and email address

   HOW DOES A DL BENEFIT US?

   - Highlands News helps to keep residents informed on general news of interest
   - DL email "Subject line" - Will always start with "HIGHLANDS NEWS"
   - DL provides information, reminders, news or any event updates
   - DL gives you information with no action required unless you want to reply or have a question
   - DL can be used by the Coordinator to send to sub-groups on the DL


   - DL vs Highlands Echoes calendar
         DL does NOT replace or repeat all events on the monthly Echoes calendar except for reminders
   - DL is used only as needed and infrequently (i.e. once a week or once every 3 months)

   - Reply – The coordinator will receive your reply but it will not go to everyone else on the DL
   - Reply-to-all - Do NOT use this. It will not go to the DL and you may receive a rejection notice

   IMPORTANT
   - Privacy - ONLY the DL Coordinator can send email to this DL

   - Security - DL email addresses are private and will not be shared with anyone

   - This DL is not a Blog - You can NOT communicate with everone using this DL.

   - If the office or you have something you want to share with the neighborhood, send me an email. I will review your comment and post it if it fits the purpose of the DL. If not, I will contact you.

   Use REPLY to DL email
   "Reply" - You can reply to a DL email and only I will receive your reply. I will reply to your comment or question promptly within 72 hours. Your reply or my reply to you will NOT go to everyone on the DL

   Highlands Office
    - If your reply comment is better handled by the office, it will be forwarded to the office
    - Do NOT reply to the DL email for maintenance requests, reservations or complaints. These should be handled directly with the office
